Registration: Sexual Health Education Workshops

Sisterup and Buddiup are hosting sexual health education workshops with subject expert Caryn Sullivan.

The sessions will run over three consecutive Monday evenings from 5-7pm:

  • 15th July | Public & private and consent

  • 22nd July | Healthy relationships and boundaries

  • 29th July | Protective education and managing personal safety

Group size will be limited to 12 participants. According to research, relationship and protective behaviour education are often best delivered to a mixed-gender group so we will be running these colllectively between Buddiup and Sisterup participants. 

Cost: $150.00 for the three sessions.

Supports are welcome to attend with participant. Buddiup or Sisterup Mentor available to attend with participant upon request.

About Caryn Sullivan  | Psychoeducation and Counselling

Caryn Sullivan is a counsellor, advocate and educator, specialising in disability, sexuality and relationship counselling, protective behaviour education, complex needs and trauma. Caryn has worked in various not-for-profit agencies over the past decade and is a committee member for the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID). She facilitates workshops and presentations, delivering training and support to people with disabilities, teachers, health professionals and carers to advocate, support and empower people with disabilities. Caryn is also passionate about music and has worked as a professional musician and music teacher for 25 years and facilitates drumming and music therapy sessions and workshops.
